My name originates from Eve, the first woman, and my nickname, Bibia, reflects the Bible. My last name derives from the word "vicar," meaning a representative of the church.
You can call me Bibia—or Ate (Sister) Bibia—an artist of God, as I like to say. My mission is to awaken the pure spirits of the Old Testament. Even before I was born, my mother dreamed she climbed a stairway to heaven and arrived at a small door. When she opened it, she found herself standing in a paradise.
My mother’s life is a novel, and so is mine—a long preparation leading up to this very day. In my darkest moments, I tell myself that the Modern Testament begins with me. I have often questioned this thought, especially since we already have a New Testament, sometimes called the modern one. But modern means the present—what is happening now, for there is no modern technology during the time of Christ.
My art is not meant for everyone. If you dream of your forefathers or feel their presence in your thoughts, then you carry their spirits within you. We are living in the Days of Yonah. And if these words do not resonate with you, perhaps your spirit is not yet ready.

This artwork is inspired by the Bull, associated with the Taurus Zodiac sign, a concept I’m still exploring and decoding. I’ve been reflecting on why, when the Israelites were waiting for Moses, they made a golden calf—a bull—rather than a sheep, especially since they had far more sheep than bulls. What's even more intriguing is that they typically sacrificed their best sheep, not bulls.
I also wonder why the bull, despite being a sacrificial animal like the sheep and the bird, is sometimes associated with idolatry, even linked to Baal worship. It's a paradox—why would something that served as a sacred offering also be seen as a symbol of false gods?

Inspiration Behind the Artwork
This artwork was born from a vision.
My husband had fallen deeply in love with the location of our new home. I loved it as well, though I hesitated because of the cost.
One day, as we visited the site, I looked up to the sky and prayed, “Father God, should we move forward? Please give me a sign.” At that very moment, radiant beams of sunlight broke through the clouds, and a gentle phrase echoed in my heart: “I’ll see you there.”
Artist’s Statement
My original poem is written in Tagalog, my native language. I chose Tagalog because certain words carry deeper meanings that are difficult to express in English. With the help of ChatGPT, I was able to translate this poem—and most of my works—into English.
This piece reflects my personal thoughts on the Biblical prophecy of Jesus’ return to Israel, the current state of our nation—the United States of America—and my own life experiences.
Many people dream of coming to America because it is a land of many nations—a land of promise where dreams can become reality, and where people of different backgrounds and colors proudly identify as Americans. While evil exists in every nation, there are far more good people in America than in any other country. Perhaps the Bible refers not to Israel, but to America—the land of many nations.
In Filipino culture, the mother is regarded as the ilaw ng tahanan (light of the home), while the father is the haligi ng tahanan (structure of the home).
The original poem is written in Tagalog because it allows me to express my deepest feelings. Tagalog words carry layers of meaning—rich, poetic, and often untranslatable without losing their true essence. Like the “haligi ng tahanan”, the literal meaning in English is the pillar of the home. And the structure translation in Tagalog is istraktura (borrowed from Spanish). The "haligi ng tahanan” symbolizes the father as the structure, not just a pillar, of the house.
The English version of the poem was translated with the help of ChatGPT, and I’m truly grateful for this wonderful AI tool.
I am not perfect, and neither is my family. I created this artwork to share a story—one that I hope others can understand and learn something from.
This was a painful story of deceit and betrayal within our family, Ninang Engkantada (my aunt) and cousin Judas. I have prayed many times for forgiveness—for them and for everyone involved—even though they never asked for it.
Jesus teaches us to forgive our enemies. I have done my part: I prayed for them and have shown kindness to them. But the truth is painful-Ninang Engkantada passed away with her lies, and Mama (my mother) died believing them. Cousin Judas, however, continues to live and spread lies, and sadly, many of our relatives believe her stories.
In my native dialect, Sambal (dialect of the Aeta), we have a saying: “Hay tia bongkok!”—a person who lies so deeply that her lies begin to sound like truth. And in Tagalog, we say, “Ang ahas ay ahas”—a snake will always be a snake.
Sometimes, separation is necessary. Some souls carry unclean spirits that, when given another chance, continue to harm.
Perhaps that is why stories of separation are also found in the Bible—to remind us that, at times, we must let go and separate the rotten apples so the rest may remain good and the life's pattern will not be repeated.
